The 100 Million Project Is Now The 200 Million Project
I’ve been involved in a project that moves traffic to millions of people around the globe and it has been a very exciting venture to say the least.
Initially, the project involved 100 million people and in the last week, this has doubled to over 200 million people as some larger organizations have become involved – ISPs, consumer based companies, global manufacturers, software firms.
As of now, this is part of a private global media organization but sooner than expected, it will be released to the public within the next few weeks.
So what is it exactly?  In it’s simplest form, it is slated to be the new traffic standard for the internet – the ‘new internet’ so to speak.  It involves the way sites are routed and resolved when entered into a browser.
The core benefit is speed in reaching your websites – if people can get to your site faster and it loads quicker (regardless of who is hosting it), what would that mean to your business, especially if you are selling something from your website?
The transactional speed of the internet has exploded exponentially and is fast moving beyond your desktops and laptops to web enabled mobile devices.
In Africa for example, many people including business owners transact via their cell phones as they may not have a computer.
Keeping in mind this mobile device explosion and continued reliance on web enabled devices to conduct business, imagine being able to give someone your phone number and it is tied to your websites.
If they could reach you quicker from any device, computer or cell phone, how would this impact your business?
The point of this technology with the 200 million project is the massive increase in speed and efficiency for businesses which directly translates to revenue.
It’ll be here sooner than you think and the question is – will you take advantage of it?
For the sake of everyone’s business success, the answer should be a resounding YES.
